陳启峰教授獲《麻省理工科技評論》及DeepTech評選為「AI 100青年先鋒」

Prof. Qifeng Chen, Associate Professor of Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at HKUST, is listed as an "AI 100 Young Pioneer" award by MIT Technology Review China and DeepTech. He is one of the 65 awardees selected in the inaugural batch of the award scheme across the nation.

The "AI 100 Young Pioneers" is an authoritative ranking jointly initiated by MIT Technology Review China and DeepTech, aimed at identifying and honoring the most promising young leaders under the age of 40 in China’s AI sector. The selection criteria focus on core dimensions such as technological innovation, industrial application, and societal impact. Through rigorous review by more than 20 authoritative experts, the list selects a new generation of scientists and entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions in basic AI research, industry applications, and interdisciplinary fields.

The 2025 inaugural cohort features 65 exceptional young pioneers across cutting-edge fields, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, AI for Science (AI4Science), and embodied intelligence. Among the 65 awardees, Beijing claims the highest proportion at 33. Shanghai follows with 10 awardees, Hong Kong with 6, while Hangzhou and Shenzhen each contribute 4 pioneers. The remaining 8 recipients are distributed across other provinces.

鄭光廷教授和李小萌教授在第五十屆日內瓦國際發明展中獲獎

第五十屆日內瓦國際發明展於 2025 年 4 月 9 日至 13 日舉行,吸引來自 35 個國家及地區的發明家、大學、研究機構及企業提交近 1,050 項作品。在來自香港的 299 項發明中,科大共有 37 支隊伍奪得合共 38 個獎項,展現了該校在生命與健康技術、人工智能(AI)與數據科學、先進製造、新能源技術及航空航天工程領域的卓越表現。其中由科大電子及計算機工程學系鄭光廷教授李小萌教授主導的發明在本屆展覽中獲得3個獎項。

  • 支援數碼記憶體運算(DCIM)的便攜式基因體分析原型
    評審團嘉許金獎
    數碼記憶體運算(DCIM)將記憶體和運算邏輯合二為 一,以卓越效能革新了AI 晶片。AutoDCIM是首款用於DCIM設計的電子設計自動化(EDA)工具,旨在透過便攜式基因體分析原型演示基於DCIM的解決方案。
  • 適用於便攜式醫療設備的超高能效AI加速器
    金獎
    一款針對便攜式醫療設備度身訂造的即時、精準臨床影像分割原型系統,利用CNN-Transformer AI加速器,與傳統數碼晶片相比,能源效率提升了10倍。

李小萌教授

  • C2RV:稀疏視圖CBCT重建的跨區域和跨視圖學習
    銀獎
    C2RV(跨區域和跨視圖學習)是一種適用於稀疏視圖錐狀射束電腦斷層掃描的框架。它可以利用更少的投影重建3D圖像,將輻射減少超過90%,並提高了醫療應用的準確度。
